Our goals are to explore and evaluate how and why:
(1) anatomical variation influences locomotor function, performance and health;
(2) bone tissues responds to their mechanical environment
(3) running influences the function and evolution of other anatomical systems (e.g., brains)
(4) locomotor behaviors have changed through evolutionary time;
